The companies within the Catoni Group operate individually in each country around the Black Sea. The first established of these companies is Catoni Maritime Agencies S.A. established in 1846 in Turkey. These companies execute the contractual services in the three core activities; Trade, Transport and Insurance.

The major shares of the Catoni Group Companies are owned by B&C Global Investments UK, with other minor shareholdings. This company is inturn owned by Belfante & Catoni Holding.

B&C Global Investment UK is the contractual company for the various partnership which exist within the Group.

To more easily promote the Group as a whole, and to reflect its unique history the name Catoni is included as the registered name of each company followed by their operative word. This uniform approach has lead to this well respected brand name.

In the Millennium year “Catoni” introduced a new campaign to differentiate itself from other service companies; this characteristic is best described as “Catoni, the regional company”. There are 14 Catoni Offices which are occupying a coastal region from the East Mediterranean, Aegean and Black Sea with the most Eastern point being in Baku, capital of Azerbaycan on the Caspian Sea.
